Regarding Participation in Online Counseling / Coaching / Personal Development Sessions

1. GENERAL FRAMEWORK AND SCOPE
This document constitutes an Informed Consent Agreement between the Participant (hereinafter referred to as the “Client”) and Laura Andrunachi, clinical psychologist under supervision (hereinafter referred to as the “Practitioner”), regarding voluntary participation in online sessions of counseling, coaching, or personal development, delivered via digital platforms (e.g., Zoom, Meet, etc.).
By accessing and participating in any of the online sessions organized by the Practitioner, the Client declares that they have read, understood, and fully accepted the terms of this document prior to the start of any collaboration.
2. NON-MEDICAL NATURE OF SERVICES PROVIDED
The Practitioner does NOT provide:
-
psychiatric diagnosis
-
medical treatment or psychotherapy
-
emergency intervention or psychological/medical crisis support
Participation in sessions does NOT establish a doctor–patient or licensed psychotherapist–client relationship.
The sole purpose of the sessions is to support processes of personal development, counseling, consulting, mentoring, self-discovery, and emotional exploration.
3. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Practitioner does not assume and cannot be held liable under any circumstances for:

the outcomes of the sessions
-
the emotional or psychological state of the Client during or after participation
-
decisions, behaviors, or consequences resulting from the Client’s actions
The Client fully assumes personal responsibility for how they use the information received during the sessions.
4. ASSUMPTION OF EMOTIONAL RISKS
The Client is informed that the sessions may involve:

deep introspection
-
the resurfacing of memories or intense emotions
-
potentially difficult emotional reactions (such as sadness, anger, or psychological discomfort)
By participating, the Client acknowledges and accepts these risks and understands that they may pause or withdraw from the session at any time.
5. NO EMERGENCY SUPPORT
The Practitioner does NOT provide psychological emergency support. In the case of:
-
acute mental health crises
-
suicidal ideation
-
psychotic episodes
-
self-harming or violent behavior
The Client understands that they are responsible for immediately contacting emergency services by calling 112 or seeking help from a doctor, psychiatrist, crisis center, or hospital.
6. CONFIDENTIALITY AND TECHNICAL RESTRICTIONS
All information shared during sessions is confidential, except in situations explicitly required by law:

imminent risk of harm
-
abuse of a minor
-
legal or judicial order
It is strictly forbidden to:

record audio or video
-
take screenshots
-
share or reproduce any content without the written consent of the Practitioner
Any such violation will result in legal liability and immediate termination of the collaboration.
7. ONLINE SESSIONS AND TECHNOLOGICAL RISKS
The Client understands that participation occurs via digital platforms and that there may be:
-
connection errors
-
security breaches
-
temporary disruptions or inability to conduct the session
The Practitioner cannot be held responsible for such situations beyond their control.
8. CLIENT’S OBLIGATION REGARDING PARTICIPATION ENVIRONMENT
The Client agrees to attend sessions from a private, quiet, and safe space, where they are not being recorded, overheard, or interrupted by others.
Participation from public spaces, in the presence of others, or in unsafe environments is strongly discouraged.
9. ACCEPTANCE AND APPLICABILITY
By scheduling a session, making a payment, or participating in a session, the Client:

confirms they have fully read and understood this document
-
expressly agrees to the conditions and limitations of the services
-
explicitly waives any claims or legal actions against the Practitioner related to the subjective effects of the process
FINAL NOTE
This document is public, applicable to all participants, and holds the value of a pre-contractual agreement in accordance with applicable Romanian legislation.
